Today I went among them again. Chatted at some length with a few of them (one at a time). I got excited explaining the Cultural Mandate to a chap called Neil, and needed to be warned against inadvertantly spilling my coffee. Steve made no approach, so my laboriously-prepared Critique seems to have been contemptuously binned. Afterwards I thought of something I should have mentioned to Neil, so I sent it to the RCC email address (the only one I have) and someone signing himself "Steve" replied "I've forward [sic] your message to Neil". Whether that means that Neil has now seen MY email address, I know not; probably not important, as that address can be found on CR anyway, but no attention is bad attention. (In case you are curious, that "something" was: "When you asked for examples of the Christian cultural mandate, I should have mentioned education. Real Christians (together) raise their children in the fear of the Lord, not send them to be indoctrinated with Wokery full-time and hope to repair the harm part-time.") When such folk ask "are you a Christian?" it is a trap. They are implying that they will acccept my self-assessment, and to answer affirmatively is to imply acceptance of THEIR self-assessment. I usually reply "I regard myself as such; you are the ones I am worried about". Suggestions for a better line are welcome. Quite a few of them have now been told about ChristianRelaunch, and none has contacted me. I have not decided whether (or how long) to keep going.
