The New Birth
How can I be born again? By trust alone.
Salvation by trust is the central message of the New Covenant Book. The word "alone" ("sola" in the Latin sola fide) was added by the Protestants, starting in 1517 CE, to clarify this message against the Roman Vatican and other Christian leaders who insisted on the role of priests, ceremonies and penances. None of those play any part in this. It is the gift of God.
Could my zeal no respite know, could my tears for ever flow,
all for sin could not atone: thou must save, and thou alone.
Augustus Toplady, Rock of Ages (1776).
How do reborns act? They devotedly serve God's purpose by playing their part in bringing human society to ripeness while heeding the natural principles of proper conduct.
All folk should act thus; reborn folk do act thus. This is how they can be recognised.
Registering costs nothing but the subscription costs everything! To be reborn is to enter a transformation process; the idea of entering a transformation procvessd without unbbdergoing transformation is absurd.
What do reborns experience in this age? In union with Christ they foretaste the union with God that is the world's fulfillment, though the full experience must wait until the new humanity is ripe.
